Your heel pain can have many causes from sports, to too much stress, or bad shoes. You may recover from heel pain with rest, but often heel pain is ignored causing further problems. Make an appointment with us to find out the best solution for your feet. Dr. James T. Vukonich and Dr. Ronald L. Korbelik can end your suffering.
Rely on our podiatrists to tackle your heel pain and get you feeling better quickly.
Your heel will be examined to see if there is any swelling or where it is most tender. You may also need to do some physical tests to help make a determination.
Once you have been examined and possibly tested your doctor will make some suggestions on how to improve upon your heel pain, or how to rid yourself of it altogether.
You could have a heel spur, which is a calcium deposit on your heel bone. You may also have plantar fasciitis, which is inflammation of the tissue band that connects the heel and toes.
Through stretching, anti-inflammatories, and ice therapy, you can treat these conditions.
The moment you begin experiencing heel pain you should see your orthodontist to determine what the cause may be. Let them know when the pain started and how long it's been going on.
