Foot suffering from plantar fasciitis

Your plantar fasciitis can cause horrible pain in your heel, making it hard for you to get around comfortably from day to day. See your dedicated podiatrist to get help determining a plan of relief. Dr. James T. Vukonich and Dr. Ronald L. Korbelik both know just how to solve your problem.

Don't let plantar fasciitis stop you from living comfortably. Turn to our expert podiatrists.

Your podiatrist will evaluate the way you walk, and have you perform some physical tests. You'll also have your feet examined thoroughly to determine if you have plantar fasciitis.

You may also have a stress fracture, so expect an x-ray if it is suspected you may have one. You'll have the most complete exam to pinpoint the cause of your pain and get you on track to relief.

Be diagnosed and feel better

If you are diagnosed with plantar fasciitis you'll likely be told to use ice and take ibuprofen. In addition, you'll learn some wonderful stretches to relieve the pain. Do heel stretches and calf stretches demonstrated in office and you'll feel better in no time!

You may also be suffering from other foot problems, like heel pain or a bunion.

Your treatment for plantar fasciitis

Whether you're very active or not, you may have somehow pulled or stretched the band of tissue that runs from the heel to the toes. If you have flat feet, that is also sometimes a cause.
